eki presened at IEES 2024

In October 2024, the eki research project was represented at the International Embedded Systems Symposium (IESS) held in Gainesville, Florida from 15-14 October, by two papers: The first paper, entitled “Hardware Acceleration of CNNs with the FINN Framework”, deals with the acceleration of convolutional neural networks through the FINN framework. The second paper is entitled “Comparing Quantization Techniques for DNNs in Precision Agriculture” and examines various quantization methods for deep neural networks in the context of agricultural practice. Both publications reflect the progress of our project in the field of hardware-accelerated AI and its application to precision agriculture. The international response at the conference demonstrated the relevance of our research and provided valuable input for the further development of the eki demonstrator.
