Felix Jentzsch and Christoph Berganski form the core team to launch the project

The eki project starts with a core team of Felix Jentzsch and Christoph Berganski. Felix is using and extending the open source FINN framework to map approximated deep neural network models to FPGA hardware. Christoph focuses on compression techniques for deep neural network models, such as pruning and quantization. Felix and Christoph are PhD students in the Computer Engineering group at the University of Paderborn.
